New Zealand Helen is primarily known for her work with well respected Melbourne bands My Friend the Chocolate Cake and Not drowning, waving, gypsy tango quintet Cosmo Cosmolino, and Indian/
Javanese influenced trio Fine Blue Thread. Helen also writes music for theatre, film and TV.

This is one more reason why I wish MFTCC would tour the states (I live in Pittsburgh). Some tracks, like "Weather Coast" sound even better live than in the studio. Fantastic playing and great songs. It's a pity my copy hasn't arrived yet (ordered it in Sept) but I'm still enjoying the digital download.
